Canada’s 150th 'Passport to Summer Reading'

Hello everyone! Our annual Summer Reading Program is back. It runs from July 1st to Sept 4th and compliments the TD Summer Reading Program.

The theme for this year is "Canada's 150th" to commemorate Canada's big birthday celebrations! We have some great prizes available and there is something for everyone. See below for more information:

Canada's 150th Passports

As part of this year’s contest, we have launched a Canadian 'Passport' contest for patrons. To participate, one must pick up a 'Passport' card from your local library or download a blank 'Passport' card. To play, simply follow the instructions and submit the completed card to your local librarian. The contest ends on Sept 4th 2017.

TD Summer Reading

The TD Summer Reading Program is Canada's biggest and most popular, bilingual and accesible summer reading program and it is designed for kids of all ages and abilities. Click here to learn more.

Participants of the TD Summer Reading Program may also obtain a ballot by registering online and filling out their reading notebook with their 'Web Access Code' (One entry per person)


Canadian Crafts


Take a picture of Canadian related craft you made at the library and send it by email to or drop it off at our local library. (Suggested crafts will be made availble soon)
