Living with COVID-19: Re-Opening Saskatchewan Step Three Guidance
Starting Tuesday July 12th, all Lakeland Library Region branches will open to the public as part of Phase Five of our regional re-opening plan. This is in response to the announcement made on June 20th by the Government of Saskatchewan about implementing “Step 3” of the “Re-Opening Roadmap” on July 11th indicating certain restrictions could be lifted. Lakeland Library Region will continue to follow all Saskatchewan Public Health Orders as released.
Masks are now required at all branches effective Sept. 17th as per the Saskatchewan Public Health Order announcement made on Sept. 16th Social distancing measures will continue when deemed appropriate (i.e programming and public access computer use). Enhanced cleaning and disinfection will continue at all Lakeland Library Region branches for the foreseeable future.
Services such as contactless curbside pick up will continue and in-branch visits will be limited to two hours to better serve our immunocompromised patrons.
Along with the restoration of library services to pre-COVID levels, on July 12th, Lakeland Library Region will also be re-instituting pre-COVID late fees on materials, and will be returning to pre-COVID due dates and billing dates for late materials.
